Blumetti's Gourmet Foods, Inc. Expands Its Reach
Signs National Distribution with Tree of Life
DALLAS, TX - Blumetti's Gourmet Foods, Inc., a high-end provider of specialty gourmet pasta sauces based here, announced today
that it has entered into a national distribution agreement with Tree of Life. Tree of Life, Inc. is the world's leading marketer and
distributor of organic, natural and specialty foods, serving customers throughout the United States and Canada.
"Blumetti's is ready to build on its consistent performance in the Natural and Specialty Grocery trade over the last several years and
take our business to the next level. Our products have been extraordinarily well received in our current geographical markets and we
look forward to expanding our reach to new consumers across the entire country. With their extensive natural channel of trade, we
believe 'Tree' is an ideal partner to help us reach a significantly larger number of quality conscious, consumers in locations we've
not yet touched," said Jim Blumetti, President/CEO.
"Outside of Texas, Colorado and Northern California, we've been a closely guarded secret for quite some time now, albeit reluctantly."
Blumetti, said. "For several years now, gourmet and health conscious consumers, outside our established market area have been
demanding our all natural, super premium pasta sauces from retailers in locations that we've not been able to service. Given the
extremely enthusiastic consumer acceptance of our products, we've been searching for ways to expand our distribution on a national
basis, but at the same time control our growth."

Enter Tree of Life. "We weren't ready for 'Tree' a few years ago. Although I doubt I believed it at the time. We've always had an
extraordinary product…..and our reputation for quality proceeded us. But our systems, infrastructure and financial facilities at the
time, were not developed enough to have taken on exponential growth. Now we're ready….bring it on!" Blumetti said.
"With this new distribution via Tree of Life and our increased ability to support the additional production, we believe Blumetti's is
poised for another tremendous growth spike. So, we are very excited that through 'Tree' we can now provide natural food retailers, in
previously untapped markets with our products to a waiting, eager consumer base," said Blumetti.
Blumetti's products are marketed in the super premium brand category and are sold through high-end supermarkets as well as specialty
and natural food stores. Current products include:
• Zesty Marinara - vine-ripened old world style tomato sauce
• Vino Parmigiano - cabernet sauvignon wine, parmesan cheese in tomato sauce
• Diavolo Puttanesca - extra zesty caper, onion & anchovy in tomato sauce
• Artichoke Portobello Marinara - sautéed artichokes & mushrooms in tomato sauce
• Roasted 3 Pepper Marinara - roasted red, yellow & green peppers in tomato sauces
• Pesto Marinara - basil pesto parmesan in tomato sauce
All products come in 26 oz. glass jars.
